We Deliver and Install.
We are a Family Owned and Operated Business. Serving Southwestern Michigan and beyond.
1990 Stephen started working with wood/cabinetry as an employee in an Amish Cabinet shop in central Michigan. Here he learned the majority of his skills as a custom woodworker.
2005 He moved his family to the Ludington area and became part owner of Countryside Log Furniture and Kitchens with Floyd Lambright. Here they made log bedroom suites, log railings, rustic furniture, and Custom kitchens & baths.
2015 Floyd was ready to retire and Stephen Slabaugh became the owner of Countryside Log Furniture and Kitchens.
2018 Countryside Log Furniture and Kitchens began focusing more on Custom Kitchens and cabinetry than the log/rustic portion of the business
2020 Now building only Custom Cabinetry and considering a move to southern Michigan
2023 The business was relocated to southwestern Michigan close to Kalamazoo.
2026 Countryside Log Furniture and Kitchens has now been rebranded Kastanie Kitchens reflecting our commited focus on custom Kitchens and cabinetry.
